How do I install the free Morse code app so it works offline?
Press Get the free Morse app – works offline on the Morse code app page. On Chrome, Edge and Android the browser asks you to confirm. On iPhone, use Share, then Add to Home Screen.

- Press Get the free Morse app – works offline.
- Chrome, Edge or Android: confirm Install.
- iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Mac (Safari): File, then Add to Dock.
Questions and fixes
The install button doesn’t appear
Installing needs a browser that supports web apps: Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac, Chromebook or Android, or Safari on iPhone and iPad (Share, then Add to Home Screen). Firefox on a computer can’t install web apps. Private windows can’t install apps either.
The app doesn’t work without the internet
Open the app once while you are online, so your browser can save the pages. After that it works offline. If you cleared your browser’s site data, open it online again to save a fresh copy.
Does it cost anything or need an account?
No. It is free, with no app store and no account.
