How do I play hangman against the computer?
In hangman, choose You guess to guess the computer’s word, or Computer guesses to see how fast it guesses yours. Pick a level, and balloons instead of the classic picture if you like.
Step by step
- Open hangman.
- For You guess: choose a level (Easy gives eight wrong guesses) and press New word, then pick letters.
- For Computer guesses: think of a word, choose how many letters it has and press Start. Tap the squares where its letter appears and press Done, or press No.
- Switch Picture to Balloons for a gentler game.

Check you tapped every square where the letter appears. Names and very rare words aren’t in its dictionary.
