How to remember 0
- It sounds like dah-dah-dah-dah-dah. Say it out loud as you listen, and learn the rhythm rather than counting dots and dashes.
- 0 has 5 signals: 5 dashes. It takes 19 units of time to send, where a dot is one unit.
- All numbers in Morse code have five signals. 6 to 9 and 0 begin with dashes and end with dots: 0 is five dashes.
- Once you know the pattern, you can work out every number without memorising a table.
